Worth knowing – frequently asked questions about the boutique style hotel Hirschen

Where can I park?

Free parking is available on four levels – some of which are covered: in front of the main building, in the central courtyard behind the main building, in the guest house and in the Jana-Maria annexe. Car parking cannot be pre-booked! Disabled parking is available behind the main building.

Where can I charge my electric car?

A 24 hour charging station is available for guests with electric cars. Guests in possession of a charging card have access to stress-free electric car charging at any time.
Please note that this parking space may only be occupied during the charging process and must be vacated as soon as this is complete. Many thanks for your understanding.

What are the hotel reception opening hours?

Monday - Wednesday and Friday/Saturday 07:00-22:00
Thursday 07:00-20:00
Sundays & holidays 08:00-17:00

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in from16:00
Check-out Monday to Friday 10:00. For late risers until 11:00.
Saturdays/Sundays & holidays until 11:00. For late risers until 12:00 at the latest.

Where can I park?

You can park your car right in front of the hotel or drive around to our two-level car park at the back of the building. We also have carports. Our guests will find an adequate supply of parking spaces available – free of charge! Parking spaces cannot be booked in advance.

How do I pay the bill?

Guests can settle their hotel bill when checking in or checking out using a bank debit card, credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or cash. Bills can also be paid by bank transfer before arrival – please advise us in advance. Please let us know your credit card number and its expiry date to guarantee your booking.

What are the conditions of cancellation?

Our conditions of cancellation apply 3 days before the planned arrival date.  
In high season they apply 1 month before the planned arrival date. Conditions of cancellation may be found on your booking confirmation.

When is breakfast served?

Our generous boutique style breakfast is available daily.
Monday to Friday 07:00-10:30
Saturdays, Sundays & holidays 07:30-11:30.

Can you hire bicycles in the hotel?

We are happy to arrange the hire of both e-bikes and regular bicycles/city bikes. If you intend to hit the town on one of our great bikes, please let us know in advance, to ensure availability. E-bike per day EUR 29.--  City bike per day EUR 10.--

Is there a locked bike room where I can leave my private e-bike/bicycle?

You can leave your bicycle or ski equipment in our bike/ski room in complete safety. We advise you to lock your bicycle, just to be on the safe side.

How far is the hotel from Dornbirn station?

The railway station is approx. 2 km or 20-25 minutes’ walk from the hotel. The "Haselstauden" halt is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, approx. 5-10 minutes’ walk away.
There is also a city and regional bus service which stops right outside the hotel, and this will take you right into the centre of Dornbirn!

What size are the bath robes you provide?

Bath robes are available in various sizes. If the one in your room is too small, just let reception know. We will be happy to supply a robe of the appropriate size.

Are children allowed to use the sauna complex?

Access to our SkyRelax wellness and fitness complex is restricted to guests aged 18 and over. We are happy for your child to accompany you under your own personal supervision. However, silence must be observed at all times, and the hotel will accept no responsibility.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Dogs (but no other pets) are accepted, but only when booked in advance. You are requested not to leave your four-legged friend alone in the hotel room. Charge € 25.- per night.
Since pets are not allowed in all categories of room, we request you give us advance notification.

Does the hotel have a fitness studio?

Fitness training equipment available: bike, treadmill, stepper, rowing machine, weight bench, slim beam and yoga mats with work-out programmes.

Are there any spa facilities?

Our SkyRelax complex offers a panorama sauna, steam bath, coloured infrared loungers, two infrared chairs, two relaxation rooms and two sun decks! From our 3rd floor you can also enjoy a wonderful view out over the town to the mountains of Switzerland.

Where are the nearest shops?

In the suburb of Haselstauden IV, in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, you will find a pharmacy, bank, mini-market, baker and hairdresser. Shopping is also possible in the town centre, which can be easily accessed by public transport.

Where can I buy hotel gift vouchers?

Gift vouchers for a variety of occasions may be purchased by email from our website.  We will send your vouchers as PDF documents by email or, if you prefer, they can also be sent by post.  
During the relevant opening hours attractively packaged gift vouchers may also be purchased from the hotel reception.

Are day spa facilities available for non-resident guests?

Where possible non-resident guests are very welcome. Pre-booking is requested!
You need bring nothing with you but yourself and a sunny smile! We provide spa bags.

Is breakfast or an early check-in possible on the day of arrival?

If you would like to check in earlier than usual please let us know by email or telephone, so that we can have your room ready where possible. Of course you can enjoy our great boutique style breakfast on your arrival day. Once again we would ask you to let us know when you arrive.

What are the opening hours of the rooftop SPA?

Our SkyRelax rooftop complex, offering both indoor and outdoor relaxation, opens at 12:00.
The panorama sauna and the steam bath are switched on at14:30!
Monday to Wednesday + Friday 14:30-21:30 Thursday 14:30-20:00
Saturday 14:30-21:30 Sundays & holidays 12:00-17:00.

When is the HirschIV restaurant open?

Monday to Wednesday & Friday + Saturday we open at 16:00.
Hot food is available until 21:00. Our restaurant closes at 22:30.
On Thursdays and Sundays our restaurant team enjoys a well-earned day off!

Our reception team is happy to help with restaurant recommendations, or you can find further information yourself on our website under the heading “opening hours – time out”. Please book tables in advance before setting out. In the outdoor area no table reservations are taken, either for breakfast or dinner. It’s a case of  “first come, first served.

What is the private lounge?

Our private lounge which opens in mid-November 2022 is a place to meet. This lounge, with its fireplace, is available to our hotel guests 24/7 – to work, meet friends, read, relax or just to sit and enjoy a drink. Our private lounge offers a discerning selection of drinks and nibbles.  

 

When is your restaurant closed - time out?

The restaurant takes a well-earned break on Thursdays, Sundays and holidays
